We are currently seeking a Tax Accounting Senior Associate to join us in our Montvale office. Responsibilities: - Prepare electronic and hard copy work papers and tax filings - Assist in the preparation of detailed schedules supporting the calculation of book-tax differences and allocation and apportionment factors used in connection with federal and state tax filings - Assist in preparing responses to notices and information requests from federal and state tax authorities - Collaborate with other team members in monitoring new tax law developments and identifying necessary changes to the firm's tax reporting processes - Organize and maintain tax file content and effectively manage storage space Qualifications: - Three years of experience in public accounting or a similar position in a corporate tax department or other comparable experience - Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting from an accredited college/university - Excellent overall understanding of federal and state income tax concepts - Strong working knowledge of Excel and prior experience with Access - Willingness and flexibility to work overtime during peak tax compliance season KPMG offers and supports
