The Financial Analyst is responsible for the accomplishment of divisional goals and objectives through close relationship and support of internal Customers/Business Partners: Management Board, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Materials Management and Corporate Finance. The individual will have responsibility for financial accounting closing and reporting, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and testing and performance metric reporting and analysis. - Develop understanding of overall functioning of JDE system, COGNOS and how the ledger and key financial reporting is impacted by daily business transactions - Perform queries in JDE and other systems to develop reporting to meet the needs of internal Customers and Business Partners. - Provide accounting support for assigned department(s). - Assist department managers in annual budget and monthly forecast processes. - Perform monthly spending Reviews with departments - Support special and ad hoc projects as needed - Perform monthly financial closing. - Provide performance metric, explanations and analyses on spending variances - Provide Monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reporting. - Provide support for the general accounting process: - Administration of and compliance to corporate and divisional policies and procedures - Assist in coordination of year-end closing for Annual Report, 10-K and Tax Package - Assistance with Sarbanes-Oxley testing - Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermedia
