We are currently seeking a Tax Accounting Manager to join us in our Montvale office. Responsibilities: - Direct, supervise and train staff members assigned to prepare electronic and hard copy work papers and tax filings - Perform a thorough review of work papers, tax returns and related work products prepared by staff members to help ensure accuracy and conformity with department policies and documentation standards - Assist in the preparation or review of detailed schedules supporting the calculation of book-tax differences and allocation and apportionment factors used in connection with federal and state tax filings - Assist in preparing responses to notices and information requests from federal and state tax authorities - Collaborate with other team members in monitoring new tax law developments and identifying necessary changes to the firm's tax reporting processes Qualifications: - Six years of experience in public accounting or similar position in corporate tax department or other comparable experience - Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting from an accredited college/university - Excellent overall understanding of federal and state income tax concepts - Pr
