bPOSITION: Charge Master Financial Support Manager/b LOCATION: San Diego CA area JOB TYPE: Permanent In-house JOB ID : MA32-1575 bPOSITION PROFILE:/b - Responsibility for Chargemaster analyst functions in researching coding billing guidelines researching insurance contracts and updating hospital Charge Description Master (CDM) as well as the supervision and coordination of the financial support team - Research codes and regulations pertaining to CPT-4 HCPCS and Revenue codes as well as billing regulations. - Implement strategies to optimize the maintenance of the CDM via the Meditech Access SSI Medassets and Chartmaxx systems - Reporting to the Director of Patient Financial Services - Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field - Requires 3-5 years healthcare experience Ability to understand and analyze payor regulations the impact of the Chargemaster on reimbursement and coding guidelines Aptitude to understand insurance terms bAB
